Thank you for expressing an interest in Town School for Boys. For your planning purposes, all boys applying to the Fall 2014 kindergarten class must turn five (5) by July 15, 2014.

The following is Town School's admission procedure, beginning September 2013:

• Fill out an Inquiry Form, which will be available on our website mid-September.
• You will then be given the opportunity to schedule a tour and interview with Lynn McKannay, Director of Admission and Tuition Assistance.
• You will also be given the opportunity to fill out an application online.
• Upon receipt of your application and fee, we will schedule a visit to Town School for your son.

Families applying to kindergarten: Please sign and submit the Student Evaluation Form to your son's current school and have the school mail it to Town School before January 10, 2014. You will be notified of a date and time for your son's school visit upon receipt of the application. Visits are scheduled on Saturdays in January and February. It is recommended that you send your application in early, as the visiting days fill quickly. This visit is a developmental and social assessment.

Families applying to grades one through four: Please sign and submit both the Transcript Release Form and the Student Evaluation Form to your son's current school and have them mail the Evaluation Form to Town School before January 10, 2014. Your son will be invited to spend a full day at Town School in January or February and an assessment will be done at that time.

Families applying to grades five through eight: Please sign and submit both the Transcript Release Form and the Student Evaluation Form to your son's current school and have them mail the Evaluation Form to Town School before January 10, 2014. Your son will be invited to spend a full day at Town School in January. Applicants for grades five through eight are required to take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE). Please have the results sent directly to Town School for Boys (use code # 054007). To register for the ISEE, please call 1-800-446-0320 or visit their website at www.iseetest.org. Please schedule the ISEE exam as soon as possible; exam dates are available on the ISEE website.
